Tennis Court Hire – Terms & Conditions

By booking a court with us, you agree to the following terms.

1. Bookings & Payment

• All court bookings must be made online.
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Your booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email.
  • Court time includes warm-up and pack-up. Please finish on time.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

Customer cancellations:
• A credit voucher will be provided if cancellations are made 4 hours prior to the booking time.

If we cancel (e.g. unsafe weather, maintenance, or unexpected closure):
• You will receive a credit voucher to reschedule or a full refund upon request.

Staff will decide if conditions are unsafe. Light rain does not automatically qualify for a refund.

3. Safety & Assumption of Risk

Tennis is a physical sport and carries a risk of injury, including but not limited to slips, trips, falls, collisions, and impact from balls or racquets.

By booking and playing, you:
• Acknowledge and accept these risks
• Agree to play safely and responsibly
• Confirm that you and anyone in your group are fit to participate

Children under 14 must be supervised by an adult.

4. Your Responsibilities

All players must:

• Wear appropriate non-marking sports footwear
  • Treat courts and equipment with care
  • Follow venue rules and staff directions
  • Behave respectfully toward other players and staff

We may refuse entry or remove anyone behaving in a dangerous, abusive or disruptive manner. No refund will apply in those cases.

You are responsible for any damage caused by you or your group.

5. Personal Property

We are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal belongings. Please keep valuables secure.

6. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including guarantees that services will be provided with due care and skill.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Injuries resulting from the ordinary risks of playing sport
  • Loss or damage to personal property
  • Indirect or consequential loss

For recreational services, liability for certain claims may be limited under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and relevant Queensland legislation.

7. Weather (Outdoor Courts Only)

• If staff determine courts are unsafe, we will offer a credit or refund.
  • No refund applies if you choose not to play while courts remain open.

8. Privacy

We collect personal information to manage bookings and payments. Your information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of booking applies.
