Court Hire Terms and Conditions

Casual Hire: All court hire is subject to availability and are available for a minimum of 1 hour period and in half- hour periods thereafter. Court hire can be made for casual hire and reoccurring bookings. Casual court hire payments are required before commencement of booking as an access code will be issued with the payment receipt.

Conditions of Hire:

• Members and public must book a court online prior to using the court
• The hirer takes full responsibility for any accident or injury incurred during the booking
• It is the responsibility of the hirer to vacate the court at the conclusion of their scheduled time and lock the gate on leaving
• Tennis courts must be left in a clean and tidy condition at the end of your court hire
• Enclosed Footwear such as tennis shoes, sport shoes or Joggers are required on every person using the courts
• 2 Hours cancellation notice will be required otherwise this will result on being charged for the court hire, if rain or inclement weather prevents play then a credit will be issued to be used within 6 months of original booking date
• Everyone must follow Covid-19 protocols
• Racquets and Balls are not provided by Play Tennis Maitland, but tennis balls can be purchased in pro shop for use.
• Members and casual players are requested to always conduct themselves in a civil manner at Play Tennis Maitland.
• Children under the age of 12 must be always supervised during court hire.
• Padlocks must be closed on exiting the complex
• Play Tennis Maitland manages the facility for participation in a recreational activity. By accepting these terms and conditions, you are aware that participation in social tennis at Play Tennis Maitland has some inherent risks and injury may occur. On rare occasions these injuries can be serious. In consideration of being permitted to play on the courts managed by Play Tennis Maitland, you agree to assume the risk of all injury. You also acknowledge that the purpose of the recreational activity is for the benefit of yourself and those attending with you, and that at all times you are responsible for your own actions and the actions of those other people in your care and control.
• Play Tennis Maitland is obliged and committed to protecting the privacy of its members. It takes reasonable steps to comply with all relevant legislation. Personal Information is for use by Play Tennis Maitland management only and will not be shared with other parties.
