Terms and conditions of Booking: 

Credit Charge Surcharge applied to all transactions: .066c for bank accounts per transaction or 1.91% (minimum of $0.88c) for Visa / MasterCard per transaction.

Cancellation Policy

For online bookings, a full credit will be given:

1. When cancellation is given via phone 07 3033 9250 within 24 hours of booking time
2. Due to wet weather. Determination of playability during wet weather is at the sole discretion of the Centre Manager

Player need to phone the centre under these circumstances and the credit will be issued via a voucher to be used for a future online booking. No full refund will be provided.   

By paying for your court space you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

Terms and conditions of Entry:  

By entering the Somerville House Tennis Centre, you acknowledge that tennis and other activities offered or conducted at this Centre are inherently physical, and you risk injury in participating in such activities. 

By attending the Somerville House Tennis Centre, including coaching, training and court hire you declare that you are medically able to participate in physical activity, and acknowledge that you understand accept the inherent risks of undertaking these physical activities. 

You release and indemnify Somerville House to the full extent permitted by law in respect of any claim, loss, liability or expense arising as a result of or in connection with your participation in any Somerville House Tennis Centre Activities. 

While all efforts are made to ensure your safety, Somerville House takes no responsibility for injury, damage or loss of property. 

All staff at Somerville House are committed to working with you in a professional and courteous manner and have the right to work in a safe and supportive environment. 

Entrants to our facility must behave appropriately and follow any lawful directions from Somerville House Staff or Security – Derogative comments, abusive language, inappropriate, disruptive or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated – any participants displaying this type of behaviour will be asked to leave and or banned from the facility. 

Court bookings made through this system are for private and recreational purposes only. Tennis coaches or players are not permitted to book courts for private or group lessons.

Event management companies must apply in writing outlining the exact details of the event to be held for any external booking considerations.

Smoking and alcohol consumption is not permitted in any areas of the Tennis Centre. 

We reserve the right to cancel any booking deemed to be used for tennis coaching or commercial purposes without compensation to the customer or member in question

Court space is limited – Ensure that you are on time for your booking and exit upon completion of your allocated time slot. If you wish to extend your booking, please do so online prior to your finish time. Failure to exit the playing court on time is a direct breach of Somerville House Terms and Conditions of Entry. 

All bookings are monitored by security. Please check in at our Facilities office for access outside school hours – Contact 0410 407 336 for access if this office is not occupied.

Failure to comply with these terms and conditions will result in fines and or temporary or permanent suspension of any future bookings.
